"The divine scales weigh human actions not only by
the measures of the prayer recited and Mantras
chanted, not only by the measures of candles lit,
lights waved, bells rung and books read, but let me
tell you clearly that the divine scales measure man
by the quality of the feelings harboured in the
heart, by the very words with which you speak and
address your neighbours and by each and every simple
action of yours in your dealings with all those
amongst whom Providence has decreed that you live
your life." - Swami Chidananda

Remembering Swami Chidananda
Very beautiful, thank you.
Lately I am realising how actions spring from thoughts, like seeds. We need to pay great attention to what's going on in these heads and hearts of ours
I was nearly stunned when I saw Mr.Albert's comment. First I could not understand, then I had a thought and clicked on it. That is a blog by Cohen, with more and more chiddananda. I feel this is a great gift to me from Mr.Albert like the earlier one 'Tri Pura Rahasya' , which was more preferred by Ramana maharishi. Mr. albert is more wonderful. I appreciate everything done by Mr.Albert.
Sanmugan….simply call me with my first name Albert.):) it easier:):)
About actions and thoughts. According to Buddhism, 'Aana Paana' (simply wathcing the breath) is done to stop all these thoughts, if it is so then what happens to the actions? We have to find out as to from where these thoughts are coming from head or heart.
I will try my best to use your first name Albert. Excuse me. Another reason why I cannot forget you, because the road I live is named after you. It is named 'Albert Place'.
:):) Its simple. Even Andrew Cohen as Guru is called Andrew by his students. In English language first name is quite usual in communication.
How is it in India`?
I am in Sri Lanka. almost all are thinking that I am from India. Among friends it is alright to address by their name. My trouble is I must get used to it. Thanks you very much.
